De Zilveren Kraai (English: The Silver Crow) started as a way to create jewellery that suited me perfectly, but has grown into a way to make the world a little more beautiful.
Everything around us can inspire us, from nature to man-made works of art. I've always felt a strong drive to create physical objects. I love aesthetics and art, the humanity behind our beautiful possessions and the connections they can create. That is why I handcraft every piece of jewellery, and all choices for De Zilveren Kraai stem from strong values like justice and honesty.
That is what De Zilveren Kraai stands for, and the path I will thread.
The person behind it
Let me introduce myself: I am Rowin van Teylingen, the person behind De Zilveren Kraai.
A short time ago I started as a jewellery maker, mainly because I had trouble finding jewellery that suited me.
So after countless disappointing (online) shopping sessions, I thought: "Fine, I'll do it myself."
First for myself, then for friends, and now for everyone!
Of course I am still developing my skills in the craft of jewellery making, but that is exactly what I am looking forward to most in the coming period.
