Fleur Prachtige ring, prefect op maat en precies wat ik voor ogen had!!
Once beloved, this antique is yearning for a new life. At your wish, it shall be transformed into a ring, to be loved once more.
In a medieval German village once lived a knight and his beloved. On a beautiful summer day, they walked along the river bank, which was bathed in blue by countless forget-me-nots. Then, in his passion, the knight decided to pick some of the flowers. But when he bent down beside the water's edge, his heavy armor caused him to topple into the water. As the river carried him away, he managed to throw the bouquet of flowers to the water's edge, with his final words for his beloved: "Vergiss mein nicht!", or forget me not.
Each spoon has had a life of its own and may therefore differ slightly from the photo.
Each ring is custom made, so please include your size in the 'special instructions' of your order.
Beware that some EU countries use different measurements for their rings, we work with the EU recognized ring chart based on circumference.
If you order multiple rings, please write it down as follows: *Item Name - Size* and so on.
Don't know your size? There are two easy ways to find out:
1. Measure the circumference of your finger with a tape measure or a piece of string. Keep track of where the string crosses over itself and place it against a ruler. Then find the measurement in millimeters and choose the appropriate ring size from the size chart.
2. Do you have a ring that already fits your finger? Then use a ruler to measure the inside diameter of the ring (or the inner circle). This will give you the diameter of the ring. The number of millimeters corresponds to a EU ring size.
Each ring is made of silver-plated cutlery. Silver-plated spoons have an outer layer of silver and a core of another metal.
Over time, the surface will darken, a natural reaction between silver and the air. This creates character in the depths of the design, but the surface is most beautiful when polished.
To remove surface discoloration, you can use a polishing cloth. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents or coarse textures, as this will best preserve the silver.
